This is really a hot June for us at MIND Music Labs: after winning Midem’s startup competition and stepping on the podium of Stockholm’s TechCrunch event we are super-excited to announce one more success in less than 15 days: our second place at Sónar+D Startup Garden Competition!
Sónar+D Startup Garden is the part of the World-famous Sónar music festival that focuses on the latest advancements in all technologies applied to creative industries like music, video, hardware or Internet of Things, and the aim of its startup competition was to find 10 global companies capable of reconfiguring the creative industry sector… desn’t that sound like the right mission for MIND Music Labs?
After a very tough competition with more than 100 startups from all over the World and a final pitching session with 9 other top-level music-focused companies, the jury decided to award MIND Music Labs and its SENSUS Smart Guitar the 2nd place, which not only confirmed our company as one of the most promising startups in the creative World but also granted us a broad range of service packages from the event’s sponsors Sendgrid, Talentians and Rousaud Costas Duran.
Among the Jury members that chose MIND as one of the most promising startups are Cedric Kutlu of Fools Fund VC, Kalam Ali of EuropeanPioneers and Rudi Skogman of Reaktor Ventures. The competition was also a great opportunity for MIND to network and connect with some of the biggest realities in the startup and creative ecosystems, such as Index Ventures, Telefonica Ventures and 360 Capital Partners.
“After Midem and TechCruch, this third important award is the confirmation the music World is willing to open its doors to MIND Music Labs’ disrupting musical instruments – a door we are ready to run through holding our SENSUS Smart Guitar!” is how our CEO commented this important day.
